Member
Tiffany Henry
From a young age, while under the tutelage of her parents and other esteemed servant leaders, Tiffany Henry knew she was destined to work in environments that allowed her to authentically serve people, advocate for equity, and lead the next generation.
A native of Beloit, Wisconsin, Tiffany is a proud alumna of Beloit Memorial High School and Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She also received a Certificate for Leadership Training from the African American Leadership Program (AALP) hosted by Cardinal Stritch University—a premier leadership development initiative for Milwaukee’s African American professionals.
Tiffany brings a wealth of political astuteness, longevity, and commitment to the public sector. She began her professional career working in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2013, she transitioned to the United States Senate, achieving a rare feat for minority federal government employees by serving in both chambers of the United States Congress. Tiffany is mission-driven to be impactful, intentional, and vocal when advocating for underrepresented individuals. Guided by the vision that empowering voices uplift the next generation, education and faith have remained the cornerstones of her life. This foundation was inspired by her late father, who dedicated 34 years of his life to academic as a teacher in Beloit, and mother who served as a paraprofessional. Today, as a member of the Rising Phoenix Academy Board of Directors, she is honored to support the Academy’s mission of providing an innovative, faith-based education that empowers students to rise, thrive, and lead. Tiffany fully embraces the wisdom of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”
